How To Learn HTML In A Day

The name HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language. A piece of text that acts as a link is known as hypertext, and markup language provides a technique to write layout information in documents. When a browser receives an HTML file, it searches the text for the HTML codes, which are used to build layouts, add graphics, and attach them to other pages. You can write HTML with any text editor. Text editors include VS Code, Sublime Text, Atom, Notepad, and others. “.html” is the extension for all HTML files. In HTML code, there can only be one body tag.

Without knowing the source of the page’s creation, it is quite possible to construct a page. It is advised to comprehend tags and what they do if you want to have information beyond basic web design.

HTML has some uses that include;

You can discover some interesting information by looking at the page source of other people’s websites.

Some tags can be used that the Editor doesn’t understand.

When the editor is not completing the tasks you require, you can finish the work on your own.

<h1> tag. The highest heading tag is this one. In HTML files, it serves to describe a heading. The open and close tags are also present in the h1> tag. The heading tags h1>, h2>, h3>, h4>, h5>, and h6> come in several varieties. The highest heading tag is “h1,” while the lowest is “h6.”

HTML IS NOT A LANGUAGE FOR PROGRAMMING.

Considering how useful HTML is in making web pages, many people mistakenly think it’s programming. HTML, however, isn’t a programming language. HTML was merely used to mark up the text so that it could be read and understood as web page content by the browser. The portions that are headings, paragraphs, and links are identified by the browser as such, and the browser displays them as such. HTML is only used for structural purposes on a web page, not for functional ones.

Among the reasons why there isn’t programming is that:

There is no programming logic in it.

It cannot produce an output by taking in inputs.

It doesn’t even attempt to handle data in any manner; it is impossible to declare variables or construct functions.

It lacks commonly used conditional phrases like If/Else.

There is no mathematical reasoning applied by it.

Programming languages have loops that let you repeatedly execute the same instructions. Loops like if-else statements and others like while loops are examples of flow control statements. All programming languages include these flow control statements, but HTML doesn’t.
